About this litter....
The sire of this litter was born in 1979, and he was the top bloodhound in the U.S. 1983. This litter is a frozen semen litter, and is the result of decades of technological advances in canine reproduction.
The sire of the litter is American and Canadian Ch. The Rectory's Bishop, OFA. Bishop won best of breed at Westminster kennel club in 1981 and the American Bloodhound Club's National specialty in 1982. He was the #1 bloodhound in the U.S. in 1983. Bishop was a multiple Best in Show winner and the winner of over 30 group firsts. He is in the American Bloodhound Club dog show hall of fame.
The dam of the litter is Shiloh's Matters of the Heart OFA BL1249 and EL177. "Mattie" has points toward her championship. She is a daughter of Ch. Badger Creek Druid OFA, the #1 bloodhound in the U.S. in 1996 and 1997. She is a sound typey 5 year old bitch, with tons of skin and a lap dog personality. When we return home, she greets us at the door with a "song" and a stuffed animal in her mouth.
